Comau invites you to preview its latest products which are being launched under the claim "Next is Automated". This concept takes shape within our exhibition space (Hall B5, Stand 331), where intelligent, mobile, and collaborative solutions bring to life an idea of automation capable of adapting to the pace and challenges of contemporary industry.

Of particular interest are compact industrial robots that are easy to integrate, new autonomous mobile platforms designed for agile logistics without infrastructural constraints, and a family of next-generation collaborative robots that are intelligent, safe, flexible, and engineered to enhance productivity in every production environment. Special attention will also be given to operator well-being, with ergonomic solutions, flexible welding technologies, including a new patented clamp, and advanced programming systems designed to simplify every interaction between humans and machines.

You'll also have the opportunity to experience the integration between Comau's programming platform and Siemens' SIMATIC Robot Library, which paves the way for more intuitive and accessible automation.

To complete the scenario, Nicole Clement, Chief Business Unit Leader for Advanced Automation Solutions, will participate in the International Federation of Robotics' Round Table titled "Global Robotics Market: How can Europe step up its game?", scheduled for June 25th from 13:00 to 14:00 at the Automatica Forum (Hall A5).

This is an opportunity to delve into the prospects of the robotics market in Europe.

T.J. Davies' Retention Knobs

Our retention knobs are manufactured above international standards or to machine builder specifications. Retention knobs are manufactured utilizing AMS-6274/AISI-8620 alloy steel drawn in the United States. Threads are single-pointed on our lathes while manufacturing all other retention knob features to ensure high concentricity. Our process ensures that our threads are balanced (lead in/lead out at 180 degrees.) Each retention knob is carburized (hardened) to 58-62HRC, and case depth is .020-.030. Core hardness 40HRC. Each retention knob is coated utilizing a hot black oxide coating to military specifications. Our retention knobs are 100% covered in black oxide to prevent rust. All retention knob surfaces (not just mating surfaces) have a precision finish of 32 RMA micro or better: ISO grade 6N. Each retention knob is magnetic particle tested and tested at 2.5 times the pulling force of the drawbar. Certifications are maintained for each step in the manufacturing process for traceability.
