The Mini C-Frame Press excels in sealing various port styles, including boat ports, tube seals, and flange ports. These ports are commonly used in single-use bioprocess bags and flexible packaging applications, requiring a reliable and consistent seal to maintain product integrity and sterility. The press is particularly adept at handling the unique challenges presented by flange ports which may need to be located further into a bag in contrast to boat port or tube port located at a bag edge. The heat sealing press has an 8" reach from the centerline of the heat seal tooling to the back of the press throat.

Composed of a rugged Precision Benchtop Heat seal Press and a Heat seal Control Module, the system offers both safety and precise control of time, temperature, and pressure of the sealing cycle. The control module features a touch screen display and is programmable via easy and logical menu navigation. Several key features include automatic multipoint calibration, recipe storage, user specific access with password protection, data logging capabilities, and the ability to operate in 21 CFR Part 11 compliance. A validation screen in conjunction with ports to measure the critical process parameters of temperature, time, and pressure via independent traceable devices ensure proper machine function which is especially important in validated applications.

Built with Packworld's precision and designed for validated applications, the Mini C-Frame Press features TOSS Technology, "The Optimum Sealing System," which uses Variable Resistance Control (VRC) for unmatched temperature management via the PIREG heat seal controller. By applying Ohm's law to measure current and voltage, it calculates resistance for precise control. A proprietary heat seal band material ensures a predictable resistance curve as the element heats up. Once calibrated, this resistance is directly correlated to temperature, ensuring rapid and accurate temperature regulation. The
TOSS PIREG system eliminates inconsistencies found in traditional heat sealers with no temperature
feedback or issues associated with thermocouple controlled machines, such as slow read times,
installation issues, and degradation, by letting the heating element serve as its own sensor. This advanced
technology ensures precise and repeatable control over time, temperature, and pressure throughout the
sealing cycle, delivering optimal results every time.

The Mini C-Frame Press offers adaptability to various applications, including cutting and sealing of contoured shapes, fitment and port sealing, welding film to molded or machined plastic devices, and other custom heat seal platens. It can be equipped with virtually any heat seal configuration to meet specific requirements. The Heat Seal Control Module manages temperature, pressure, and cycle time, ensuring accurate and reliable operation. This press delivers numerous advantages, such as precise and repeatable control, user-friendly operation, and adaptability to diverse applications. Our retention knobs are manufactured above international standards or to machine builder specifications. Retention knobs are manufactured utilizing AMS-6274/AISI-8620 alloy steel drawn in the United States. Threads are single-pointed on our lathes while manufacturing all other retention knob features to ensure high concentricity. Our process ensures that our threads are balanced (lead in/lead out at 180 degrees.) Each retention knob is carburized (hardened) to 58-62HRC, and case depth is .020-.030. Core hardness 40HRC. Each retention knob is coated utilizing a hot black oxide coating to military specifications. Our retention knobs are 100% covered in black oxide to prevent rust. All retention knob surfaces (not just mating surfaces) have a precision finish of 32 RMA micro or better: ISO grade 6N. Each retention knob is magnetic particle tested and tested at 2.5 times the pulling force of the drawbar. Certifications are maintained for each step in the manufacturing process for traceability.
