In a recent project, Maplesoft's MapleSim, was used by designers and engineers at Engineered Arts to develop a biologically analogous leg design for Byrun, a new kind of full-scale dynamic humanoid that will take social robotics to the next level. This leg design will give Byrun the ability to walk, run, jump and hop.

Expanding its offerings of synchronous motors, HEIDENHAIN Corporation introduces the new QSY 260B and QSY 260C EcoDyn series of servo motors with stall torque of 85.0 Nm and 120.0 Nm, respectively.
