Liquid HollowStream™ Cone Nozzles and Electrostatic Filters

The contractor used a cleaning solution to break down the contamination prior to rinsing and drying. They had to be careful with the electrostatic filters as the ionizing wires that are used to charge the particles are very thin and prone to breaking.

Designing a More Responsive Supply Chain: 7 Strategies for Manufacturers

Responsive supply chains are flexible, quickly adapting to demand shifts and disruptions. They can then mitigate challenges that affect industry competitors and minimize waste. Here are seven ways manufacturers can create an effective one.

Selection of CNC Machining Tools and Determination of Cutting Amount

Fully consider the characteristics of CNC machining when programming. In this paper, the problems of tool selection and cutting amount determination that must be faced in NC programming are discussed, some principles and suggestions are given, and the problems that should be paid attention to are discussed.

The automatic handling of seamless steel pipes is inseparable from the electric permanent magnet chuck

The electric permanent magnet suction cup is used for automatic handling of seamless steel pipes, which saves labor costs and greatly improves the efficiency and competitiveness of enterprises.

How to approach port automation to really drive up throughput

Keeping the world's supply chain moving means every second really does count. Ports base their success on the amount of goods they move through their facilities - called throughput. Increasing this throughput is the number one priority. In this blog we hear from Tomas Girdzevičius, CEO at Autepra, JLT partner and IT systems integrator working with container ports.

T.J. Davies' Retention Knobs

T.J. Davies' Retention Knobs

Our retention knobs are manufactured above international standards or to machine builder specifications. Retention knobs are manufactured utilizing AMS-6274/AISI-8620 alloy steel drawn in the United States. Threads are single-pointed on our lathes while manufacturing all other retention knob features to ensure high concentricity. Our process ensures that our threads are balanced (lead in/lead out at 180 degrees.) Each retention knob is carburized (hardened) to 58-62HRC, and case depth is .020-.030. Core hardness 40HRC. Each retention knob is coated utilizing a hot black oxide coating to military specifications. Our retention knobs are 100% covered in black oxide to prevent rust. All retention knob surfaces (not just mating surfaces) have a precision finish of 32 RMA micro or better: ISO grade 6N. Each retention knob is magnetic particle tested and tested at 2.5 times the pulling force of the drawbar. Certifications are maintained for each step in the manufacturing process for traceability.
