ALIO (ALLIENT DENVER) UNVEILS “READY TO SHIP” (RTS) MEASUREMENT-GRADE XY STAGES WITH LEAD TIMES MEASURED IN WEEKS, NOT QUARTERS
RTS answers a crowded market reality. Programs in life sciences, photonics, and semiconductors can’t wait months for motion, yet still require metrology-level performance.
(14th January 2026, Arvada, CO, USA) ALIO (Allient Denver) today announced Ready to Ship (RTS), a rapid-delivery program for its ALIO product line that gives OEMs and integrators immediate access to measurement-grade monolithic XY stages, without custom-order delays. RTS answers a crowded market reality. Programs in life sciences, photonics, and semiconductors can't wait months for motion, yet still require metrology-level performance.
Under the RTS banner, customers can select from Enclosed Monolithic XY stages (standard LM 160×160 mm and compact CM 60×60, 100×100, 200×200 mm) or an Open-Center Monolithic XY stage standard LM 150×150 mm, with delivery in roughly 3-4 weeks ARO. Each platform ships with <0.5 ?m linear accuracy and ±30 nm bi-directional repeatability, allowing teams to accelerate tool builds without compromising precision.
"RTS is about removing schedule risk while keeping the ALIO performance customers expect," says Mark Holcomb, Director of Product Management, ALIO (Allient Denver). "If a program must move from concept to integration fast, these stages arrive ready to bolt in, with the geometric integrity and servo behavior that protect yield and data quality."
The RTS stages are built on ALIO's renowned three-plate architecture, which enhances orthogonality, stiffness, and vertical stability (key to maintaining volumetric accuracy during high-throughput trajectories). For process and imaging flexibility, the open-center variant provides clear optical or process access through the stage aperture, while the low-profile design lowers machine height and moving mass, helping to reduce static and dynamic Abbe (tip/tilt) error at the load point.
Holcomb adds, "We curated the most requested travels and configurations, validated them to sub-micron accuracy, and standardized the supply chain so customers can order with confidence. RTS isn't a ‘lite' option, it's the same metrology-grade motion, just available sooner."
RTS directly targets time-critical applications across industries such as genome sequencing, spatial biology, and cell therapy platforms that demand fast settle with minimal spatial footprint; laser marking/cutting/welding systems that benefit from low jitter and path fidelity; and wafer bonding, probing, and inspection tools where repeatability and straightness/flatness translate to measurable yield. By combining precision specifications with rapid availability, RTS lets engineering teams maintain aggressive timelines, de-risk integration, and align procurement with program milestones.
"Customers have told us they don't want to choose between speed and certainty," Holcomb concludes. "With RTS, they get both, measurement-grade motion, pre-engineered options, and weeks-not-months delivery. It's the fastest path to precision."
