Nationwide Boiler Highlights Mobile Steam Plant Fleet for Rapid, Reliable Temporary Steam Solutions

Turnkey, Self-Contained Mobile Systems Deliver Fast, Flexible, and Compliant Steam for Industrial and Commercial Operations

Nationwide Boiler Inc., a leading provider of boiler solutions, is proud to highlight its fleet of mobile steam plants, designed to deliver rapid, reliable, and versatile temporary steam solutions for industrial and heavy commercial facilities. Engineered to meet the demands of planned maintenance, increased capacity, or unexpected outages, Nationwide Boiler's mobile steam plants ensure uninterrupted operations and maximum efficiency in any environment.

The fleet features a range of models with capacities from 47.5 to 1,000 HP, low and ultra-low NOx emissions performance, and both trailer-enclosed and open-trailer designs. Each unit is pre-engineered and fire-tested, as well as highly maintained to ensure reliable operation for each and every project. In addition, many of their ultra-low NOx units are pre-permitted for expedited operation in the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) of California, ensuring compliance with the most stringent air emission requirements.

Nationwide Boiler's mobile steam plants are complete, self-contained systems, incorporating a firetube steam boiler, feedwater system, duplex water softener, chemical feed, blowdown separator, and all necessary controls. The systems are fully piped and wired for quick connection, supporting fast delivery and installation at the customer's site.

Units are designed for fuel flexibility, capable of operating on natural gas or #2 oil, with some models offering the ability to burn non-standard fuels. The trailer-enclosed mobile steam plants, also known as mobile boiler rooms, are housed within an enclosed, weatherproof structure that protects equipment and operators from the elements, eliminating the need for temporary shelters and providing a safe, comfortable work environment.

All units are built with a focus on safety and reliability, featuring comprehensive safety controls to deliver consistent steam output under demanding conditions. Supported by Nationwide Boiler's decades of experience, industry-leading engineering, and commitment to customer satisfaction, the mobile steam plant fleet delivers a proven, turnkey solution for temporary steam needs.

T.J. Davies' Retention Knobs

T.J. Davies' Retention Knobs

Our retention knobs are manufactured above international standards or to machine builder specifications. Retention knobs are manufactured utilizing AMS-6274/AISI-8620 alloy steel drawn in the United States. Threads are single-pointed on our lathes while manufacturing all other retention knob features to ensure high concentricity. Our process ensures that our threads are balanced (lead in/lead out at 180 degrees.) Each retention knob is carburized (hardened) to 58-62HRC, and case depth is .020-.030. Core hardness 40HRC. Each retention knob is coated utilizing a hot black oxide coating to military specifications. Our retention knobs are 100% covered in black oxide to prevent rust. All retention knob surfaces (not just mating surfaces) have a precision finish of 32 RMA micro or better: ISO grade 6N. Each retention knob is magnetic particle tested and tested at 2.5 times the pulling force of the drawbar. Certifications are maintained for each step in the manufacturing process for traceability.
