Xometry Announces Recipients of the Annual Excellence In Manufacturing Awards

The Awards honor top Partners in Xometry’s Manufacturing Network

Xometry, the largest global on-demand marketplace for custom manufacturing, announced today its third annual Xometry Excellence in Manufacturing Awards. The honorees represent the top tier of Xometry's network of thousands of manufacturing partners, based on their performance in delivering high-quality parts throughout 2020.

"This year we are excited to recognize many outstanding Partners in our network," said Kim White, Vice President of Global Network Operations, Xometry. "Our Partners have exhibited unwavering resilience and dedication navigating through these unprecedented times while maintaining their commitment to delivering high-quality parts. We are proud to work with them."

"We are honored and appreciate the opportunity to be chosen for this award," said Vinny Campellone of PenCo Precision. "Xometry is a great asset to the manufacturing industry and we look forward to continuing our partnership."

Earlier this week, Xometry released the latest version of its Small Manufacturing Index, which found small manufacturers have high business optimism as they see the threat of COVID waning.

"The SMI results are consistent with our own positive outlook at Xometry for the manufacturing sector," continued White. "We expect 2021 to be a year of high growth for our manufacturing partners and are eager to continue offering opportunities to take more work and fill their capacity."

Xometry's Instant Quoting EngineTM allows customers to easily quote and order custom manufactured parts online across a multitude of manufacturing processes, including CNC machining, 3D printing, and sheet metal fabrication. The parts are then sourced through their global network of manufacturers.

There is no cost for manufacturers to join the Xometry Partner Network. Using data and advanced machine learning algorithms, Partners are shown jobs that best fit their shop's capabilities, eliminating the time spent chasing work. The Xometry Supplies marketplace is fully integrated to provide Partners access to best-in-class materials and tools. This is complemented by Xometry's Shop Finances, which gives partners access to 30% of their job's payout on day one, and streamlines their account receivable process, creating a one-stop solution for all of their Partner's business and manufacturing needs.
