Aircuity, creator of measurably better environments, will be highlighting the benefits of its platform for optimizing ventilation in laboratories at the 2018 (International Institute for Sustainable Laboratories) Annual Conference. The event will be held October 14-17, 2018, at the Raleigh Convention Center, in North Carolina and Aircuity is exhibiting at Booth #39. In addition, Aircuity's founder will be leading a pre-conference training workshop and Aircuity's CEO will be speaking during a conference session.

NEWTON, Mass., USA - Aircuity, (www.aircuity.com), creator of measurably better environments, will be highlighting the benefits of its platform for optimizing ventilation in laboratories at the 2018 (International Institute for Sustainable Laboratories) Annual Conference. The event will be held October 14-17, 2018, at the Raleigh Convention Center, in North Carolina and Aircuity is exhibiting at Booth #39. In addition, Aircuitys founder will be leading a pre-conference training workshop and Aircuitys CEO will be speaking during a conference session.

Stop by Booth #39 to learn more about how the Aircuity platform which delivers measurable savings and actionable insights. Aircuity is ideal for research laboratory facilities looking to significantly reduce energy costs, monitor space conditions and occupant behavior, and achieve quantifiable savings that can be reinvested in research.
Be sure to join Aircuity at the following two sessions at I2SL:
• Gordon Sharp, Aircuity chairman and member of the I2SL Board of Directors, will lead a pre-conference training session on October 14th from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. called "Energy-Efficiency Laboratory Design Practices and Technology." Attendees will learn about a progression of different yet complimentary airside technologies and design practices that can be used individually, but are best applied collectively, to significantly and safely reduce ventilation-related energy expenses. Facts and figures will help quantify potential energy savings for regional climates and specific case studies will be presented on relevant projects such as Masdar City in Abu Dhabi and projects within the United States.
• Dan Diehl, CEO of Aircuity, will speaking as part of a laboratory ventilation session on ventilation on October 16th from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. entitled "Next Generation Lab Ventilation Technology Address Key Areas of Business Concern". Mr. Diehl will describe the technology that allows energy savings to be easily tracked and provide better insight on a lab's indoor environmental quality through analytics that are being used by both EHS and facility managers. Implementing the newly released technology has also allowed universities to address their growing deferred maintenance backlogs. Real world examples will be presented of a university using the analytics to identify IEQ incidents affecting their labs and a case study will be shared showing how another university's project directly reduced their maintenance backlog.
Since its launch in 2000, Aircuity has been the leader in demand control ventilation and indoor environmental quality solutions. The system is implemented in advanced life science and laboratory facilities around the world, including Eli Lilly, Van Andel Institute, Sanford Consortium and in leading research universities.

Model TR1 Tru-Trac

Model TR1 Tru-Trac

The Model TR1 Tru-Trac® linear measurement solution is a versatile option for tracking velocity, position, or distance over a wide variety of surfaces. An integrated encoder, measuring wheel, and spring-loaded torsion arm in one, compact unit, the Model TR1 is easy to install. The spring-loaded torsion arm offers adjustable torsion load, allowing the Model TR1 to be mounted in almost any orientation - even upside-down. The threaded shaft on the pivot axis is field reversible, providing mounting access from either side. With operating speeds up to 3000 feet per minute, a wide variety of configuration options - including multiple wheel material options - and a housing made from a durable, conductive composite material that minimizes static buildup, the Model TR1 Tru-Trac® is the ideal solution for countless applications.
