Delta’s Groundbreaking 800 VDC Power Solutions Showcased at OCP Global Summit 2025 to Enable Sustainable AI Factories

In close collaboration with NVIDIA, Delta has developed next-generation 800 VDC power solutions capable of enabling 1.1 MW-scale racks for hyperscale AI factories, setting a new standard for energy efficiency, scalability, and sustainability in the AI data center segment.

Delta, a global leader in power management and smart green solutions, is redefining data center power infrastructure by unveiling its next-generation 800VDC high voltage power solutions at OCP Global Summit 2025. In close collaboration with NVIDIA, Delta has developed next-generation 800 VDC power solutions capable of enabling 1.1 MW-scale racks for hyperscale AI factories, setting a new standard for energy efficiency, scalability, and sustainability in the AI data center segment.

Franziskus Gehle, Vice President of Americas Region at Delta, underscored, "Delta leverages its superior prowess in high-efficiency power electronics to develop innovative energy-saving solutions for the world's most critical technologies. We're proud to work alongside NVIDIA to release this future ready 800 VDC power architecture, which ultimately unlocks greater compute density and energy conservation in AI data centers."

At the core of this transformation is Delta's 800 VDC grid-to-chip ecosystem, purpose-built to meet the accelerating demands of hyperscale AI computing. As AI factories evolve toward denser rack designs and higher throughput, Delta's system simplifies power distribution, minimizes energy loss, and maximizes capacity - all while reducing copper use and thermal load across every layer of the power path.

Delta's 800 VDC grid-to-chip solutions span the entire power journey: from the Solid State Transformer (SST) that converts medium-voltage AC directly to 800 VDC bus; to the HVDC/DC Power Distribution Board which enables 800 V to 12 V outputs at maximum 98.5% efficiency. Customers can also choose the 800 VDC In-Row Power that enables 1.1 MW of in-row power delivery to bridge legacy infrastructure with forward-looking rack designs instead of SST. Complementary innovations such as the Core-Shell Liquid Cooled Busbar, Power Chokes, and Cold Plates ensure precise power delivery, stability, and localized thermal management for high-density GPU workloads.

In addition, Delta presents the latest 90 kW DC/DC Power Shelf that converts 800 V to 50 V at rack-level efficiency of up to 98.5%. The HVDC Power Capacitance Shelf (PCS) with built-in supercapacitors is designed specifically to smooth AC-side load fluctuations and to provide second-level backup power during outages. Complementing these, the Energy Variance Appliance (EVA) Rack is designed to maintain a limited peak-to-average AC input current ratio, eliminating overshoots and undershoots while using energy storage to smooth GPU peak load profiles, achieving high efficiency of up to 97% at full load. In addition, Delta's High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) Busway delivers resilient, scalable, and low-loss distribution to ensure seamless power delivery across facilities. Safety and adaptability are also central to the system. The e-Fuse Module with SiC switch technology achieves fault cutoff in less than 3μs.

OCP Global Summit 2025 will be held from October 13 to 16 at the San Jose Convention Center. Welcome to Delta's booth at #B51 to discover how our newly-launched 800 VDC power solutions usher a new era of energy-efficient AI factories.

FLIR Si1-LD - Industrial Acoustic Imaging Camera for Compressed Air Leak Detection

FLIR Si1-LD - Industrial Acoustic Imaging Camera for Compressed Air Leak Detection

The FLIR Si1-LD is an easy-to-use acoustic imaging camera for locating and quantifying pressurized leaks in compressed air systems. This lightweight, one-handed camera is designed to help maintenance, manufacturing, and engineering professionals identify air leaks faster than with traditional methods. Built with a carefully constructed array of MEMS microphones for high sensitivity, the Si1-LD produces a precise acoustic image that visually displays ultrasonic information, even in loud, industrial environments. The acoustic image is overlaid in real time on a digital image, allowing you to accurately pinpoint the source of the sound, with onboard analytics which quantify the losses being incurred. The Si1-LD features a plugin that enables you to import acoustic images to FLIR Thermal Studio suite for offline editing, analysis, and advanced report creation. Field analysis and reporting can also be done using the FLIR Acoustic Camera Viewer cloud service. Transferring of images can be managed via memory stick or USB data cable. Through a regular maintenance routine, the FLIR Si1-LD can help facilities reduce their environmental impact and save money on utility bills.
