Fictiv Unveils Tariff Management and Landed Cost Services to Reduce Import Disruptions and Delays

New DDP and Configuration Options Provide Cost Transparency and Control for Customers Worldwide

Fictiv, the trusted global manufacturing and supply chain company, today announced new total landed cost pricing on its platform via Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) and Importer of Record (IoR) configuration options.

With so many changes in flight and global trade changing by the hour, giving customers visibility into their true costs is mission-critical. This release leverages Fictiv's more than a decade operating a global supply chain platform to derisk financial and operational delays through transparency. Customers now have visibility into the true landed cost of their product, instantaneously and at their fingertips, allowing for fast decision-making and no hidden costs when procuring from a global supply chain.

The new offerings reflect customer feedback about unexpected import bills and hidden fees from other solution providers. Fictiv's fully transparent approach ensures seamless customs handling and upfront pricing, eliminating hidden costs and post-delivery surprises.

"Fictiv's mission is to simplify sourcing for mechanical procurement. The launch of our total landed cost pricing gives customers the ability to compare their options in real time, derisk operational delays, and incorporate financial targets," said Dave Evans, Co-Founder and CEO of Fictiv. "This is a first in digital manufacturing and paves the way to a future where technology and expertise reduce complexity instead of adding to it."

Key Benefits of the Service:

End Use Designation
Customers can now specify the end use of their product during the quoting stage. To improve accuracy, compliance, and efficiency, each quote will require an end-use designation.

Landed Cost Calculation
The Fictiv platform will display the final transactable landed cost, inclusive of all duties, tariffs, taxes, and shipping fees. With Fictiv acting as the IoR, customers benefit from lower total costs and reduced custom clearance delays compared to managing imports independently.

Lowest Landed Cost Advantage
Through Fictiv's global supply network and established logistics partnerships, customers can reduce their overall costs while avoiding the complexity of dealing with multiple service providers.

Importer Visibility & Selection
Customers who prefer to manage their own shipping and importation can opt out of DDP services and act as their own IoR, with Ex Works (EXW) Incoterms supported for maximum flexibility.
"We really appreciate that Fictiv shows the full landed cost; it includes everything we can expect to pay up front. The transparency of selecting through those options makes a lot of sense and removes the guesswork. With Fictiv, what you see is what you pay, and that's a game-changer," said Riley Reynolds, CEO, Rheam Medical.
