Softeon and IBM Collaborate to Streamline Customers’ Warehouse Operations
By Raj Ponnuswamy, Chief Development Officer, Softeon.
Today, Softeon is announcing an integration with IBM Sterling Order Management System (OMS) in Softeon Warehouse Management System (WMS), with the aim of helping clients improve distribution center processes, automate key warehouse functions, optimize resources, and enhance overall throughput and efficiency.
In this way, Softeon —the only tier-1 WMS provider focused on optimizing warehouse and fulfillment performance to increase operational efficiency and throughput— is now collaborating with IBM to provide an integrated solution set consisting of their world-class OMS with our WMS. This cooperation gives us the ability to support our clients in managing the entire spectrum of activities in the supply chain execution layer.
"We are excited to collaborate with Softeon on WMS innovation by offering solutions incorporating key technologies from both companies. Together we can deliver an even more effective and robust solution to clients, helping them manage their end-to-end processes," says Kambiz Pakzad, Worldwide Leader for Supply Chain Sales, IBM.
The software integration was highlighted at the IBM OMS User Group hosted by Tractor Supply at their headquarters in May. Softeon spoke at IBM's Technology Partner Roundtable with other business partners, where IBM detailed how is investing in integrations and collaborations with partners to improve the end-to-end customer experience.
Softeon is excited to continue helping companies leverage the advantages of both IBM's world-class OMS solution and Softeon WMS.

Cold air to -50°F (-46°C) from your compressed air supply - with no moving parts!
A low cost, reliable, maintenance free solution to a variety of industrial spot cooling problems. Using an ordinary supply of compressed air as a power source, vortex tubes create two streams of air, one hot and one cold, with no moving parts.
Vortex tubes can produce:
• Temperatures from -50° to +260°F (-46° to +127°C)
• Flow rates from 1 to 150 SCFM (28 to 4248 SLPM)
• Refrigeration up to 10,200 Btu/hr. (2571 Kcal/hr.)
Temperatures, flows and refrigeration are adjustable over a wide range using the control valve on the hot end exhaust.
EXAIR Vortex Tubes are constructed of stainless steel. The wear resistance of stainless steel, as well as its resistance to corrosion and oxidation, assures that EXAIR Vortex Tubes will provide years of reliable, maintenance-free operation. https://exair.co/184_530
