ASTM International to Host Symposium on Cement and Concrete in Additive Construction

The objective of the symposium is to present potential test methods for additive construction which may be standardized through ASTM’s standards development process.

W. CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa., Nov. 2, 2020 - The ASTM International committees on cement (C01) and concrete and concrete aggregates (C09) are sponsoring a virtual Symposium on Standards Development for Cement and Concrete for Use in Additive Construction, December 7 - 8, 2020, to be held via WebEx.


The objective of the symposium is to present potential test methods for additive construction which may be standardized through ASTM's standards development process.

Topics for the symposium include:
• Measurements of early-age material properties (prior to initial setting),
• Measurements of hardened material properties, and
• Measurements of structural performance.
