NANOFABRICA AT THE HANNOVER SHOW 2019

The Nanofabrica AM technology is truly groundbreaking, bringing AM into the micro manufacturing arena for the first time, and enabling new applications.

Having recently announced the commercial launch of its mass production micro manufacturing additive manufacturing (AM) platform, Nanofabrica will be attending the Hannover Show, and is inviting interested parties to meet with CEO Jon Donner at any time on Wednesday April 3rd.

Nanofabrica invites any interested attendees to contact CEO and Founder Jon Donner on t. +972 52 699 2313 or via email at jon@nano-fabrica.com to arrange a meeting in room 3B at Convention Center C to discuss its exciting technology, and the opportunities that it opens up for OEMs that operate in the micro manufacturing arena.

The Nanofabrica AM technology is truly groundbreaking, bringing AM into the micro manufacturing arena for the first time, and enabling new applications. For the first time, manufacturers that require micron and sub-micron level accuracy and resolution have an AM technology available, and so for the first time, these manufacturers have the ability to benefit from the inherent advantages of AM.

Perhaps of key interest is the fact that AM is agnostic to part complexity, and it is possible to design and manufacture unique geometries. As such, the Nanofabrica AM technology becomes an enabling technology, and a true stimulator of innovation, opening up the manufacture of parts and features previously impossible.

The tooling required for traditional manufacturing processes not only has a negative impact on time to market, but also makes such processes uneconomic for small or medium sized production runs. AM also allows for mass customisation, personalization, and the ability to use the same manufacturing platform for prototyping, small batches, and mass manufacturing.

Please come along and meet with us at the Hannover Show, and we can discuss exactly how Nanofabrica can partner with you to optimize its micro AM technology for your specific applications, and the numerous possibilities that now exist for micro manufacturers as they begin to embrace a truly accurate, repeatable, and mass production AM technology.

T.J. Davies' Retention Knobs

Our retention knobs are manufactured above international standards or to machine builder specifications. Retention knobs are manufactured utilizing AMS-6274/AISI-8620 alloy steel drawn in the United States. Threads are single-pointed on our lathes while manufacturing all other retention knob features to ensure high concentricity. Our process ensures that our threads are balanced (lead in/lead out at 180 degrees.) Each retention knob is carburized (hardened) to 58-62HRC, and case depth is .020-.030. Core hardness 40HRC. Each retention knob is coated utilizing a hot black oxide coating to military specifications. Our retention knobs are 100% covered in black oxide to prevent rust. All retention knob surfaces (not just mating surfaces) have a precision finish of 32 RMA micro or better: ISO grade 6N. Each retention knob is magnetic particle tested and tested at 2.5 times the pulling force of the drawbar. Certifications are maintained for each step in the manufacturing process for traceability.
