What are the steps to insert molding?
This article gives a brief description of the different steps in insert modling
1. A custom mold is loaded with inserts. This process can be done robotically or manually.
2. The molten plastic is injected into the custom mold.
3. Upon cooling, the mold opens and the components are removed.
4. The components are separated from the clusters and inspected.
