E-Z Tray's exclusive design results in very high removal efficiencies in an easier-to-maintain process unit.

QED Environmental Systems, a leading manufacturer of innovative environmental products, announces the E-Z Tray® Air Stripper, a sliding tray, stainless steel air stripper ideal for removing volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from contaminated groundwater and waste streams. E-Z Trays exclusive design results in very high removal efficiencies in an easier-to-maintain process unit.

Offering numerous advantages over other air stripping methods, E-Z Tray provides easy access for process monitoring and inspection, even while in operation. It is less prone to fouling and can be cleaned by one person with a simple pressure wash. It is also less intrusive at a site and offers a wide turn-down range. Typical treatment costs range from $0.10 - $0.20 per 1,000 gallons of drinking water.
Air stripping with E-Z Tray is an effective way of removing trihalomethanes (THMs), which can form in drinking water when disinfectants like chlorine breaks down precursor organic compounds, normally organic solids. As contaminated groundwater enters through the top of the E-Z Tray air stripper, millions of air bubbles are forced by blower pressure up through the perforated trays. This creates a turbulent froth zone with an extremely high air-to-liquid surface area for mass transfer of VOCs from liquid to air. Using the froth instead of a conventional tower packing delivers high VOC removal efficiencies, even under fouling conditions. The EZ-Tray method is also easier to inspect and maintain than other alternatives.

FLIR Si1-LD - Industrial Acoustic Imaging Camera for Compressed Air Leak Detection

FLIR Si1-LD - Industrial Acoustic Imaging Camera for Compressed Air Leak Detection

The FLIR Si1-LD is an easy-to-use acoustic imaging camera for locating and quantifying pressurized leaks in compressed air systems. This lightweight, one-handed camera is designed to help maintenance, manufacturing, and engineering professionals identify air leaks faster than with traditional methods. Built with a carefully constructed array of MEMS microphones for high sensitivity, the Si1-LD produces a precise acoustic image that visually displays ultrasonic information, even in loud, industrial environments. The acoustic image is overlaid in real time on a digital image, allowing you to accurately pinpoint the source of the sound, with onboard analytics which quantify the losses being incurred. The Si1-LD features a plugin that enables you to import acoustic images to FLIR Thermal Studio suite for offline editing, analysis, and advanced report creation. Field analysis and reporting can also be done using the FLIR Acoustic Camera Viewer cloud service. Transferring of images can be managed via memory stick or USB data cable. Through a regular maintenance routine, the FLIR Si1-LD can help facilities reduce their environmental impact and save money on utility bills.
