Tezmaksan Robot Technologies, a European manufacturer of CNC automation systems, has unveiled the CubeBOX Tower — a scalable automatic tool changer designed to boost production capacity and enable continuous, unmanned machining. Featuring a compact hexagonal tower design, the system offers high storage density and rapid part changeovers. This allows manufacturers to automate multiple CNC machines seamlessly and maintain uninterrupted production, even during extended runs.

Built for large-scale machining environments, CubeBOX Tower is well suited to sectors where reliability and around the clock production are critical — like automotive, aerospace, energy, defence and medical component manufacturing. The tower-type system's compact design supports CNC machine tending for both milling and turning applications and can be configured to serve one or more machines simultaneously.

The system's hexagon-shaped tower mechanism carries out automated part loading, pallet changing and tool exchanges without manual handling. Each face of the tower can hold a distinct setup, allowing users to prepare multiple jobs in advance and switch between them with no delay. This design increases throughput while maintaining consistent quality across shifts.

In addition, the CubeBOX Tower's structure is engineered for high-capacity performance, featuring a rotating design that supports continuous production with automated part, pallet and vice changes. Depending on configuration, CubeBOX Tower can hold up to 48 pallets measuring 250 x 250 millimetres (mm) or 24 pallets at 600 x 600 mm, each with a maximum shelf load of 200 kilograms (kg).

At the core of the system is RoboCAM+, Tezmaksan's proprietary control software, which converts computer-aided design (CAD) drawings into executable robotic motions. Operators can configure the system using a touch-screen interface, which removes the need for complex robot programming and shortens setup times.

The CubeBOX Tower expands Tezmaksan's growing CubeBOX portfolio, which already includes advanced models such as CubeBOX Blues DR, RT and Space Cabinet.
