Major capital expenditures have declined somewhat across various sectors, according to the State of the Industry Report 2025 from PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies. While a market contraction is not expected, 2025 is projected to be a low-growth year, with a modest 2.2% increase over 2024.
According to PMMI's latest research, the U.S. packaging machinery market will reach $11.2 billion this year. Industry growth is expected to peak in 2027, with a continued focus on innovative solutions to meet evolving consumer and regulatory demands.
