Antaira Spearheads New Era in Industrial Networking with Launch of Layer 3 and M12 Ethernet Switches at Automate 2025
Antaira underscores commitment to automation market with debut of rugged switches to drive network reliability across diversified applications
LAS VEGAS, NV, MAY 8, 2025 - Antaira Technologies announced today it will unveil several new Ethernet switches engineered to maximize the performance of data-driven automation networks across a diverse range of industries at Automate 2025, North America's premier automation conference, scheduled for May 12-15 at the Huntington Place Convention Center in Detroit, Michigan. Antaira will be in Automate booth #4944 where it will also be demonstrating the latest generation of its Network Management Suite, a.NMS.
"Automate is the perfect backdrop to debut our groundbreaking new switches including low-voltage input models supplying up to 30W per port of PoE to connected devices and control systems without needing 48VDC like standard PoE switches," said Joe Cook, General Manager, Antaira Technologies. "We encourage attendees to witness firsthand how Antaira is helping organizations meet the escalating demands to automate their processes and complex tasks."
Since 2005, Antaira has been a pioneer in automation networking for harsh environments, setting the benchmark for reliability with its hardened Ethernet switches, wireless products, media converters, and PoE injectors, all backed by technical services, software and support. Antaira devices withstand extreme environments in industries such as oil & gas, wastewater treatment, agriculture, and transportation, delivering unmatched dependability, while helping manufacturers meet stringent security requirements and high production demands.
At Automate 2025, Antaira will be showcasing four new switches, focusing on low voltage solutions:
• LNX-0800-M12-67-T: An industrial-grade unmanaged Ethernet switch ruggedized for harsh duty, the LNX-0800-M12-67-T offers a combination of eight M12 (D-Coded) vibration-proof ports, an extended operating range of -40°F to 167°F (-40°C to 75°C), redundant power, and an IP67 weatherproof enclosure. To accommodate different power inputs, it operates on voltages from 12 to 48VDC. It is an affordable, simple to deploy connectivity solution for areas subject to high vibration containing dust, liquid, or laden with gas.
• LMP-1802G-M12-10G-SFP-67-24-T: The LMP-1802G-M12-10G-SFP-67-24-T is an extremely robust yet compact light layer 3 managed switch featuring sixteen Gigabit M12 ports (X-coded) supplying 30W PoE+ per port, along with two 10G SFP slots for long distance connectivity. Although it operates on voltages as low as 24VDC, the switch supports a PoE power budget of 240W. Comprehensive network security and management capability is coupled with network redundancy support leveraging G.8032 ERPS v2, providing <50ms recovery time to the network.
• LMP-2804G-4XS-24-T: Designed for high port density requirements, the LMP-2804G-4XS-24-T light layer 3 Ethernet managed switch brings the versatility of 24 Gigabit PoE+ 30W ports, plus an additional four 10G SFP fiber slots for high-speed data transmission over longer distances. In a standard PoE switch, 48VDC is needed to supply power to devices. However, the LMP-2804G-4XS-24-T can operate on power inputs as low as 12VDC, offering a PoE power budget of 150W at 12VDC or 300W at 24VDC. Adding to its versatility, the switch is upgradable to Layer 3 to support Static Route, RIP V2, RIPNG, OSPF V2, OSFP V3, VRRP V2 and VRRP V3.
• LMP-1604G-4XS-bt-T: Automation increasingly relies on devices requiring higher wattages, such as GigE Vision and machine vision cameras, LED lighting, high power access points, and HD monitors. The LMP-1604G-4XS-bt-T managed switch satisfies that need with 12 Gigabit ports supplying PoE++ for 90W per port and a total power budget of 360W. Along with the 12 PoE++ ports, the switch has four 10G SFP+ fiber ports to ensure reliable high speeds over extended cable runs. Like the LMP-2804G-4XS-24-T, it is upgradeable from Light Layer 3 to Layer 3, plus features network redundancy support.
