Amerigo Scientific and OZ Biosciences Announce Distribution Agreement for PolyMag CRISPR Kit

Amerigo Scientific and OZ Biosciences announced the distribution agreement for PolyMag CRISPR Kit for gene editing experiments with high transfection efficiency and low cell toxicity.

Amerigo Scientific, a distributor focused on providing critical products and services to biomedical and life science communities, and OZ Biosciences, a manufacturer of innovative molecular delivery systems specialized in transfection and transduction tools, announced the distribution agreement for PolyMag CRISPR Kit for gene editing experiments with high transfection efficiency and low cell toxicity.

"We are pleased to partner with OZ Biosciences to bring the PolyMag CRISPR Kit to international researchers," said the marketing manager of Amerigo Scientific. "This innovative product will enable researchers to achieve better results in their CRISPR experiments and ultimately accelerate the pace of scientific discovery."

PolyMag CRISPR kit is the only magnet-assisted transfection reagent optimized to deliver a high level of plasmid DNA and/or mRNA expressing Cas9 and guide RNA (gRNA). It is developed based on proprietary MagnetofectionTM technology. The nanoparticles used in this reagent consist of a magnetic iron oxide core that is coated with cationic molecules. PolyMag CRISPR kit has become an efficient tool that provides high transfection rates for gene editing experiments and avoids too many toxicity issues at the same time.

After strict tests, this CRISPR Cas9 transfection reagent manifests high-efficiency delivery of the CRISPR/Cas9 system, even on primary and hard to transfect cells. It is ideal for co-transfection of pDNA/pDNA, pDNA/gRNA, and pDNA/mRNA. Additionally, this kit has been optimized for large plasmid DNA containing Cas9 and guide RNA. Importantly, the kit has low cell toxicity, which enables researchers to start their experiments with less cell damage.

Amerigo Scientific is confident to help life sciences researchers achieve outstanding success in the CRISPR Cas9 experiments by offering high-quality PolyMag CRISPR kits and technical support. With the authorized distribution agreement, Amerigo Scientific will make more scientists benefit from the power of CRISPR technology and advance their research in a more efficient and reliable way.
