Replique to present end-to-end and on-demand 3D printing solution to improve OEM supply chains

• Replique will showcase its 3D printing solution as an exhibitor at Formnext, Nov. 16-19 in Hall 12.1, Booth B88 • In an interactive product presentation, prospects can learn more about Replique’s platform and see 3D-printed accessories from its customer, the premium home appliance manufacturer Miele, firsthand

Mannheim, Germany - October 5, 2021 - Replique, the provider of a secure 3D printing platform that makes spare part management more efficient and sustainable, will be at Formnext (Hall 12.1, Booth B88) to showcase how OEMs can provide parts on-demand to their customers through a global and decentralized 3D printing network.

Via a digital and interactive experience, Formnext visitors will be able to test the company's 3D printing platform live on the booth and follow the entire ordering process based on an actual customer example from premium home appliance manufacturer, Miele.

As part of its joint project with the company, Replique leverages its production network to manage the manufacture and fulfilment of several Miele accessories. For the qualification of the printing processes, Replique works closely with Forward AM, brand of BASF 3D Printing Solutions. Within the cooperation, the additive manufacturing process of the coffee clip, one of four accessories on the platform, could be certified for food contact.

At Formnext, visitors will be able to get a behind-the-scenes look at Replique's digital warehouse, which will enable them to "order" accessories from Miele through a temporary online store before its automated "delivery".

The complete solution for integrating additive manufacturing (AM)
Replique's platform is not just a marketplace for decentralized 3D printing. Instead, it is characterized by its holism, security and simple process integration. From the selection of suitable parts for AM to digital storage, production and delivery, the company covers the entire process. With an API interface, the Replique platform connects easily into existing webshops and other ordering channels such as ERP software. The result is an automated process that qualifies and encrypts files to ensure a simple and secure entry into 3D printing that does not change the existing customer ordering procedure.

"Offering partial solutions alone is no longer enough in the AM industry; the 3D printing market is too fragmented, the technology too complex," says Dr. Max Siebert, CEO and Co-Founder of Replique. "After multiple discussions with customers, we fully understood the difficulties of implementing 3D printing in-house. Some questions just can't be answered on their own, which led our team to develop a solution that integrates 3D printing from start to finish, opening up the benefits of AM for manufacturers."
