Polyglass U.S.A., Inc. a leading manufacturer of roofing and waterproofing systems, recently partnered with long-time client Latite Roofing to support Connected Warriors (CW), a non-profit organization dedicated to serving military veterans and active-duty personnel in need.

Headquartered in Boca Raton, FL, and founded by yoga therapist Judy Weaver, Connected Warriors integrates trauma-conscious yoga, meditation, Equine Based Psychotherapy, Tai Chi, and a range of additional therapeutic activities to promote total behavioral health in veterans across the country.

According to the Department of Veteran Affairs, approximately 38 percent of veterans require behavioral health care interventions to overcome the trauma experienced in combat and related military service. The global pandemic has made it difficult for many veterans and active-duty personnel to receive in-person therapy.

To further expand its services to the veteran community and help meet this need, Connected Warriors is building a new state-of-the-art Outpatient Behavioral Healthcare Center at their headquarters. The outpatient center will be staffed with licensed clinical technicians offering behavioral health services and leading-edge treatments.

Latite Roofing CEO, Jeff Burks, serves on CW's Board of Directors. Latite recently donated much-needed computers and hardware to outfit the center and support CW's efforts. Polyglass' donation of $1500 further aims to support the center and organization's growth.

Polyglass is deeply grateful to those who have served in our nation's Armed Forces and proud to team up with Latite to assist in the launch of CW's new Behavioral Health Center. Polyglass will continue to work with Jeff Burks and Connected Warriors to support the organization where possible.

FLIR Si1-LD - Industrial Acoustic Imaging Camera for Compressed Air Leak Detection

FLIR Si1-LD - Industrial Acoustic Imaging Camera for Compressed Air Leak Detection

The FLIR Si1-LD is an easy-to-use acoustic imaging camera for locating and quantifying pressurized leaks in compressed air systems. This lightweight, one-handed camera is designed to help maintenance, manufacturing, and engineering professionals identify air leaks faster than with traditional methods. Built with a carefully constructed array of MEMS microphones for high sensitivity, the Si1-LD produces a precise acoustic image that visually displays ultrasonic information, even in loud, industrial environments. The acoustic image is overlaid in real time on a digital image, allowing you to accurately pinpoint the source of the sound, with onboard analytics which quantify the losses being incurred. The Si1-LD features a plugin that enables you to import acoustic images to FLIR Thermal Studio suite for offline editing, analysis, and advanced report creation. Field analysis and reporting can also be done using the FLIR Acoustic Camera Viewer cloud service. Transferring of images can be managed via memory stick or USB data cable. Through a regular maintenance routine, the FLIR Si1-LD can help facilities reduce their environmental impact and save money on utility bills.
