KROHNE to Exhibit at Food Processing Expo 2020

Experts to demonstrate a variety of products ideal for food processing applications

Beverly, MA: KROHNE, Inc. announces that it will be exhibiting products for food and beverage production at the Food Processing Expo 2020, booth #710, taking place February 12-13, 2020 in Santa Clara, California. On display from KROHNE will be the OPTIMASS EGM, OPTIFLUX 6000, Stainless Steel IFC 100, OPTIBAR 5060, and the OPTISENS TSS 7000.

The OPTIMASS EGM series offers continuous and repeatable mass flow or density measurement with 2-phase flows such as liquids mixed with gas, slurries with gases, or highly viscous fluids with gas entrainments. Since its introduction, OPTIMASS flowmeters with EGM have proven themselves in 2-phase flow and batch/loading/empty-full-empty applications in various industries, including: food and beverage, chemical, and oil and gas.
KROHNE's OPTIFLUX 6000 is an electromagnetic flowmeter (EMF) for hygienic and sanitary applications. The OPTIFLUX 6000 has a robust stainless steel housing which makes it ideal for hygienic and aseptic operation. It is also fully suitable for CIP and SIP. With a large diameter range of DN2.5 up to DN150, the OPTIFLUX 6000 is suitable for any food & beverage application, and pharmaceutical process connections and insertion lengths.
The stainless steel IFC 100 is an electromagnetic flow converter for combination with OPTIFLUX and WATERFLUX flow sensors. The IFC 100 offers an alternative to the standard aluminum housing; the new stainless steel housing is "hygienic by design" without pooling or harborage areas where contamination buildup could occur. It features a non-glass display to comply with zoning criteria in food and beverage applications, 2 mm/ 5/64" thick 1.4404/316L stainless steel for superior strength, and ingress protection classes IP66/67/69.
KROHNE's OPTIBAR 5060 is a pressure transmitter for process pressure and level measurement in hygienic and non-hygienic applications with gases, liquids, and steam. It can be used in open tanks and - as dual version for electronic differential pressure measurement - also in closed vessels. The pressure device features a piezo resistive or a strain gauge metallic diaphragm. Depending on the measuring cell, the pressure transmitter can operate over a wide process pressure range from 100 mbar / 1.45 psi up to 1000 bar / 14500 psi.
OPTISENS TSS 7000 is a total suspended solids sensor for hygienic applications. The sensor comes with Tri-Clamp or VARIVENT® connection and is particularly suitable for concentration measurement in milk separation, fruit processing and other food and beverage applications. However, it can also be the perfect fit for hygienic concentration measurement of other process industries (e.g. for monitoring steam and cooling water circuits).
