NSL Analytical Launches Powder360 at the RAPID + TCT Show in Detroit, MI

NSL Analytical to announce new Powder360 at the upcoming RAPID + TCT Show in Detroit, Michigan.

RAPID + TCT provides an opportunity for the entire additive manufacturing industry to come together in the interest of sharing knowledge and ideas for innovation.

This year, NSL Analytical will be launching Powder360. Powder360 is the complete, all-in-one package for every additive manufacturer's powder characterization needs and provides confidence in powder characterization through alloy and process development, powder qualification, and recycle for reuse.

From May 21-23, attendees can find NSL Analytical at Booth #1473 of the Cobo Center in Detroit, Michigan. The team will be standing by to answer questions about material testing and will be presenting information on their new service.

In addition to the Powder360 suite of tests, NSL provides support by offering tests ala carte for the additive manufacturing industry, such as applications for feedstock, prototype designs and final products. Comprehensive additive materials testing services include:

Material Composition — chemical analysis of major and trace level elements for R&D and specification conformance
Powder Characterization — flow rate, density, particle size distribution and particle shape
Validation of Metal Printed Parts — metallurgical analysis, mechanical testing, microstructure and failure analysis

SICK, Inc. - Low-Cost LiDAR: Higher Technology That's Easy to Use

LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) is one of the most reliable methods for parts sensing in factory automation today. SICK has made this technology affordable and easy to use! Click on the video link below to learn about the TiM1xx LiDAR sensor and how it provides: - Area scanning LiDAR technology in a standard sensor package - 200-degree field of view and 3 meter sensing range allows for 169 square feet of area scanning - Compact size and light weight enables ease of deployment in "non-standard" type applications, like end-of-arm robotic tooling - Wide area scanning without having to mount a transmitter and receiver makes installation much easier - IO Link for easy configuration
