Peco InspX Announces Presence At 2017 Pack Expo In Las Vegas, Nevada
Peco InspX Will Feature a Special Exhibit on Plastic Detection with X-Ray Systems
Peco InspX is pleased to announce its presence at the 2017 Pack Expo show in Las Vegas in booth 5133. This years exhibit will focus on two themes: 1) High Performance Glass-In-Glass Inspection Systems and 2) Detection of Plastics with X-Ray systems.
"We invested a material amount of research and development into improving the Trios metal and glass detection capabilities while at the same time making sure that it is tough enough to withstand even the most demanding environment with practically no preventative maintenance requirement," remarked Peco InspX CEO Rich Cisek.
Peco InspX will also feature a specialized exhibit to demonstrate the detection properties of various plastics using X-Ray technology. "Many customers call us after they have had a plastic contamination event only to find out that their plastic is virtually undetectable. Many X-Ray detectable plastic options are now affordably available, including Roechlings Sustarin C XDT (Acetal), Polystone M XDT (UHMW), and SustaPEEK XDT material - and when these materials enter a food product they are immediately detected. We encourage show participants to bring their favorite plastics to the show for an onsite evaluation," remarked Peco InspX CEO Rich Cisek.
Joe Aleszczyk, Food and Beverage Business Development Manager for Röchling Plastics added: "Röchling is proud to partner with Peco-InspX in working to prevent plastic contamination issues in the Food and Beverage industry. Together we have teamed to create innovative solutions for virtually all food and beverage processing applications. Bring us a new challenge!"

T.J. Davies' Retention Knobs
Our retention knobs are manufactured above international standards or to machine builder specifications. Retention knobs are manufactured utilizing AMS-6274/AISI-8620 alloy steel drawn in the United States. Threads are single-pointed on our lathes while manufacturing all other retention knob features to ensure high concentricity. Our process ensures that our threads are balanced (lead in/lead out at 180 degrees.) Each retention knob is carburized (hardened) to 58-62HRC, and case depth is .020-.030. Core hardness 40HRC. Each retention knob is coated utilizing a hot black oxide coating to military specifications. Our retention knobs are 100% covered in black oxide to prevent rust. All retention knob surfaces (not just mating surfaces) have a precision finish of 32 RMA micro or better: ISO grade 6N. Each retention knob is magnetic particle tested and tested at 2.5 times the pulling force of the drawbar. Certifications are maintained for each step in the manufacturing process for traceability.
