NVBOTS Made in America 3D Printer Now Shipping to Asia

In the Land of the Rising Sun, meet the 3D printer that never sleeps

BOSTON, July 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- New Valence Robotics (NVBOTS), the only provider of Built to Share™ automated 3D printing solutions, today announced that it has begun exporting internationally its landmark automated 3D printer, the NVPro, to customers in Japan and China. The NVPro was designed for reliability by a team of MIT precision engineers and is manufactured in America.

Customers in Asia are looking to the NVPro as their additive manufacturing solution of choice because of its patented automated part ejection capability and integration with NVCloud, the only 3D printing management solution to seamlessly connect any number of users to any number of automated 3D printers. Leveraging this capability gives companies the ability to take 3D printing from the lab to the factory floor and manage all of their NVCloud-connected 3D printers globally from any device, anywhere in the world — giving them factory control and management at their fingertips.

"We are excited to apply innovative thinking and incorporate the NVPro 3D printing into our daily work," said Mutsu Tanimoto, Executive Director of Daiwa Steel Tube Industries Company, Ltd, Japan.

"Global innovation training with Taktopia, powered by NVPro, increased employee creativity and morale," added Shinichiro Nakamura, CEO of Daiwa Steel.

"Exporting our products to Asia is a big win for NVBOTS," said AJ Perez, Chairman and Co-founder of NVBOTS. "Our Industry 4.0 enabled 3D printing solutions are a great fit for industrial companies like Daiwa Steel, enabling them to manage their additive manufacturing portfolio easily and from anywhere, creating greater economies of scale with distributed implementations."

Bitflow is the leader in CoaXPress

With the introduction of its Cyton and Karbon CXP frame grabbers, BitFlow has established itself as the leader in CoaXPress (CXP), a simple, yet powerful, standard for moving high speed serial data from a camera to a frame grabber. With CXP, video is captured at speeds of up to 6.25 Gigabits/Second (Gb/S). Simultaneously, control commands and triggers can be sent to the camera 20 Mb/S (with a trigger accuracy of +/- 2 nanoseconds). Up to 13 W of power can also supplied to the camera. All this happens over a single piece of industry standard 75 Ohm coaxial cable. Multiple CXP links can be aggregated to support higher data rates (e.g. four links provide 25 Gb/S of data). BitFlow CXP frame grabbers open the door to applications where cable cost, routing requirements and long distances have prevented the move to high resolution, high speed digital cameras. In many cases, existing coaxial infrastructure can be repurposed for CXP with very low installation costs.
