FAIRBANKS SCALES ANNOUNCES BLUELINE FORKLIFT WEIGH FORK SYSTEM

Weigh, move and track materials in a single operation

Kansas City, MO - Fairbanks Scales Inc., the oldest scale company in the U.S. and the worlds leader in weighing equipment, announces the new mobile weighing, BlueLine Series Forklift Weigh Fork System, ideal for weighing pallets, boxes, crates, and forklift loads. With the new mobile BlueLine Series Forklift Weigh Fork System, freight companies, warehouses, and inventory management facilities can significantly speed the weighing process, increasing profits through reduced weighing time, increase shipment accuracy and improve product tracking. The system includes the weigh forks, an instrument, instrument mounting bracket, and power couplings.

The timesaving, on-the-go BlueLine Series Forklift Weigh Fork System easily converts an existing Class II or Class III cleat-type forklift into a mobile scale. Completely wireless, the BlueLine weigh forks use a rechargeable battery pack that works independent of the forklift. Weigh fork batteries hold their charge through 180 hours of continuous use and are easy to remove for recharging. The BlueLine Series instrument can be powered by a rechargeable battery, or it can be wired to the forklifts battery power.
The BlueLine Series Forklift Weigh Fork System has models certified as "legal-for-trade" and are built to last, while remaining accurate and repeatable. Even if the forklift is operating on uneven floors or with a tilted mast.
Fast, easy installation and factory calibration allow the Fairbanks BlueLine Series Forklift Weigh Fork System to be up and running in minutes. Simple to mount on most cleat types, the new system does not require hydraulic lines, cables, hoses, or adapters. After the forks and instrument are secured and powered on, wireless Bluetooth Technology enables instant communication between the BlueLine weigh forks and instrument, without the need for cabling.

Using AI to Collect & Leverage Data

Data is the foundation of Industry 4.0. While skilled workers will always be essential, data is reshaping the manufacturing landscape, enabling automation of repetitive tasks, empowering smarter decision-making with AI assistance, and reducing defects and downtime. This shift allows small and medium-sized manufacturers (SMMs) to compete more effectively on quality, speed, and cost. While AI and machine learning systems typically require around two years to collect enough data to reach their full potential, manufacturers can start seeing benefits almost immediately with basic analysis tools and dashboards. Our MEP National NetworkTM expert explains how in this Manufacturing Tomorrow article.
