Just in time for Formnext 2025, AM Solutions - 3D post processing technology, a specialist in the post-processing of additively manufactured parts, and LuxYours, an expert in the smoothing and finishing of 3D-printed polymer parts, announce their strategic partnership. As part of this collaboration, Rösler Oberflächentechnik GmbH - the parent company of the AM Solutions brand - has acquired a stake in LuxYours. This move underscores the companies' commitment to a long-term, technology-driven partnership at the highest level.

With its investment in LuxYours, based in Planegg, AM Solutions adds a key technology to its portfolio: vapor smoothing. At the same time, AM Solutions - and its parent company Rösler Oberflächentechnik GmbH - bring established industrial strengths to the partnership: a global sales and service network, decades of mechanical engineering expertise, and deep process know-how in surface finishing.

Founded in 2017, LuxYours has developed a highly advanced, patented process for environmentally friendly and cost-efficient surface finishing. Together, the two companies are combining technological expertise and industrial scalability - creating a strong foundation to take the vapor smoothing of additively manufactured polymer parts to the next level.

Patented process: Multi Purpose Smoothing
LuxYours contributes a mature, patented process to the partnership: Multi Purpose Smoothing (MPS) - a physico-chemical process for smoothing and finishing thermoplastic parts produced with a wide range of AM technologies, including SLS, MJF, HSS, SAF, AKF, and FDM. The key advantage of this process lies in its particularly gentle and precisely controllable treatment. Even the finest details are preserved, and internal channels can be selectively smoothed.
