To meet customer demand, Voodoo has launched Large Format 3D Printing to offer nearly 8x the build volume, greatly expanding what is possible to create with the power of digital manufacturing

Brooklyn, NY -- FEBRUARY 19, 2018 -- Voodoo Manufacturing (www.voodoomfg.com), one of the largest high-volume 3D printing factories in the world, today introduced Large Format 3D Printing, a new service that will enable customers to 3D print on a larger scale. To launch and support this service, the factory has added 10 Raise3D N2 Plus Printers, which are leading FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) 3D printers capable of producing high-quality parts in a variety of materials.

Prior to this launch, Voodoos standard printing supported individual parts with dimensions up to 285 x 153 x 155mm, but now customers can 3D print individual parts with dimensions up to 300 x 300 x 600mm. For example, a custom mannequin of a 6-foot tall person would have previously needed to be made of approximately 90 individual pieces with a 2-3 hour assembly time. Now, with Large Format 3D Printing, the same mannequin can be made in only 20 parts and assembled in just 30 minutes.
