EXPO PACK Guadalajara 2025 Sets Records
2025 edition confirms EXPO PACK Guadalajara's position as Latin America’s premier packaging and processing event
Herndon, Virginia; June 16, 2025 - EXPO PACK Guadalajara 2025 welcomed 16,600 attendees from Mexico and throughout Latin America to EXPO Guadalajara. With 5,600 exhibitors staffing booths, total attendee and exhibitor attendance topped 22,000. Organized by PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies, the 2025 edition ranks as the largest and most comprehensive to date with over 750 exhibitors showcasing their latest technologies and solutions across 205,000 net square feet of sold-out exhibition space.
"EXPO PACK Guadalajara continues its strong growth trajectory with the 2025 show setting records for attendance, exhibitors, and exhibit space," reports Celia Navarrete, EXPO PACK director. "We are proud to welcome attendees from Mexico and throughout Latin America to an event that identifies the latest trends and provides opportunities to see equipment, forge valuable partnerships, and achieve a more sustainable future."

"EXPO PACK Guadalajara 2025 not only broke records — it reinforced the region's leadership in packaging and processing innovation," said Jim Pittas, president and CEO, PMMI. "This year's success proves that Latin America is not just keeping pace with global trends — it's helping shape them. The energy, engagement, and high-caliber attendees made it clear that this is the place where real progress happens."
The show floor was packed with innovations ranging from smart packaging and automation to sustainable materials. Sustainability was a major focus with the EXPO PACK Verde program reinforcing the industry's growing commitment to environmental responsibility and spotlighting sustainable packaging practices and products such as biodegradable, recyclable, and low-impact packaging innovations.
Live equipment demonstrations allowed attendees to experience machinery in action and discover operational efficiencies in real time. The new Containers & Materials Pavilion presented the latest packaging materials innovations, while the Digital Transformation Pavilion demonstrated how capturing and analyzing data can maximize efficiency, boost productivity, and overcome workforce shortages.
"EXPO PACK is extremely important for the industry," says Salvador Nondo, project maintenance lead at Bacardi. "It's the only national-level event where you can see different processes and equipment for the industry firsthand."
Veteran EXPO PACK Guadalajara attendee Arturo Villaseñor, project coordinator at Tequila Patrón, was impressed by the size of the show. "[There were] definitely more stands and two new pavilions, which was the most noticeable change. … we came with specific goals but also took the opportunity to explore new developments. EXPO PACK Guadalajara is a highly productive event both for us as clients looking for technology and for suppliers seeking to promote their brands."
Marisol Escoto, print production specialist at Colgate, agrees about the value of EXPO PACK Guadalajara. "Having all suppliers in one place makes it much easier to develop projects and explore new alternatives," she explains.
Exhibitors were equally enthusiastic about the show. Diana Espinosa, head of office at Yamato México, reports, "I've been participating in EXPO PACK Guadalajara since 2019, and I think this year's edition is incredible. We had three days of excellent prospects, high-quality leads, and a large turnout. This is our favorite show — we never miss a year. We always see a rise in sales as a result of this direct interaction with clients."
Rubén Magallanes Barrera, general director at Coesia México, an EXPO PACK participant for more than 10 years, also appreciates the opportunity to interact with customers. He says, "I really like the Guadalajara venue because the visitors we receive here are 100% focused on the event. EXPO PACK is one of the most important forums not only for Mexico but also for Central America. It's a vital space for all of us, as it gives end users the opportunity to compare technologies, innovation, materials, and more — all in one place. That drives us as manufacturers to keep improving every day."

The 2025 edition of EXPO PACK Guadalajara also offered many opportunities for networking and education. Three keynote sessions drew large crowds each morning, offering perspectives from leading voices in research, design, and corporate innovation. AMEE (Mexican Packaging Association) presentations explored current packaging trends in Mexico, followed by a well-attended evening event.
Other networking events included the Young Professionals Networking Breakfast, hosted by PMMI's Young Professionals Network America Latina, where 90 emerging leaders had the opportunity to network, hear success stories, and receive leadership advice from an executive panel.
