The reasons why brushless motors are better than brushed motors in automation equipment are as follows:

1. Brushless motors is faster than brushed motors

This results in optimal power usage of brushless motors due to less friction and less heat generation, where the speed of a brushed motor is limited by the motor's brushes and commutator, whereas the speed of a brushless motor is determined by the bearings and the motor's speed control device.
