This strategic expansion comes on the back of HiveMQ's rapid growth, with total revenues doubling year over year. The decision to establish a physical presence in Boston aims to better serve the growing US market, which now accounts for 60 percent of revenues for the company founded in Germany in 2012.


The new Boston office will serve as a hub for sales, support, customer success, and executive leadership, providing a strong foundation to support continued adoption of the HiveMQ enterprise MQTT platform in the region. Mark Herring joins HiveMQ as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) with a proven track record in B2B marketing and brand management. Mark will drive the company's marketing vision, lead brand positioning initiatives, and enhance customer engagement strategies. Under his leadership, HiveMQ will bolster its market presence and solidify its reputation as the trusted MQTT platform.

Mirko Deneke has assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Mirko brings extensive financial expertise and success driving strategic financial planning and business optimization.
