MANCHESTER, NH, -- Triplett Test Equipment, a leading maker of test equipment tools, announces the Triplett Model 8174 CamView 7-inch Security Camera Tester. With a 7 inch touch screen with retina display, up to a 16-hour battery life, and advanced capabilities and features, the Model 8174 is ideal for CCTV system and network cabling project installation and maintenance.


The Triplett Model 8174 Security Camera Tester features numerous advanced capabilities, including a 7-inch retina touch screen with 1920 x 1200 resolution and supports up to 1080p for testing HDMI input of monitors. It offers 8MP transport video interface (TVI), 8MP CVI, 8MP AHD, and CVBS camera testers with pan, tilt and zoom (PTZ) control. Network testing options include ping, IP scan, port flash, DHCP server, and trace route. Also included are a DC 24V 2A power output and a 24W, 48V DC PoE Power output / DC 12V 3A.

Other advanced features include a built-in Wi-Fi analyzer with 2.4G signal strength tester and hot spot generator; dual 1000M LAN ports to check network bandwidth, packet loss, or error data; and a 4x zoom that lets users enlarge an on screen image, capture screen snapshots, screen record, save, view, record, and playback video. Additional features include a TDR/RJ45 cable tester and a UTP cable tester (max 180M).

The Triplett Model 8174 Security Camera Tester comes complete with a tester, network cable tester, 12V DC 2A adaptor, 8GB SD Card, polymer lithium ion battery (7.6V DC 7800mAh), BNC, RS485, audio, DC power cables, safety cord, and carrying case.
