Mouser Electronics and Grant Imahara Set to Empower Makers at Maker Faire in California

Celebrity Engineer to Speak, Interact with Fans

SAN MATEO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Global distributor Mouser Electronics Inc. will participate in this weekends Maker Faire Bay Area at the San Mateo (Calif.) Event Center as a Coppersmith Sponsor. Joining Mouser will be longtime customer and celebrity engineer Grant Imahara, who will discuss innovation in the maker movement, including Mousers exciting Empowering Innovation Together™ program.


Imahara will be a featured speaker on Saturday, May 20, at 11 a.m. on the Center Stage, after which fans can watch through Mousers Twitter feed (@MouserElec) as Grant tours the Faire. Imahara will then appear at the Mouser booth, located across from the Make: Electronics Stage in the Electronics building in Zone 2. Mouser representatives will be in the booth to discuss how Mouser empowers makers with the newest technologies from its 600-plus manufacturer partners. Visitors to the Mouser booth can also sign up for a chance to win an Intel® Compute Stick.
