Longer Super Air Knives Cover Wide Spans, Resist Temperature and Corrosion

EXAIR has expanded Stainless Steel Long Super Air Knives to include a maximum length of 108″ (2743mm) and is manufacturing all air knives 60″ (1524mm) and longer, which used to be two pieces, in one piece construction which eases installation and saves space. The corrosion resistant design ensures seamless airflow and withstands temperatures up to 800°F (427°C). Super Air Knives produce a laminar sheet of airflow to blow off, dry or cool large surfaces up to 108″ (2743mm) wide. The energy efficient design minimizes compressed air use by entraining 40 parts room air to one part compressed air. It is ideal for blowing corrosive chemicals off parts, drying food products and cooling hot materials such as molten glass, castings and molded parts.

Using AI to Collect & Leverage Data

Using AI to Collect & Leverage Data

Data is the foundation of Industry 4.0. While skilled workers will always be essential, data is reshaping the manufacturing landscape, enabling automation of repetitive tasks, empowering smarter decision-making with AI assistance, and reducing defects and downtime. This shift allows small and medium-sized manufacturers (SMMs) to compete more effectively on quality, speed, and cost. While AI and machine learning systems typically require around two years to collect enough data to reach their full potential, manufacturers can start seeing benefits almost immediately with basic analysis tools and dashboards. Our MEP National NetworkTM expert explains how in this Manufacturing Tomorrow article.
