Universal Robots Showcases the Future of Automation at Collaborate India 2025

With expert speakers, hands-on demonstrations, and in-depth discussions, the event delivers key insights into the role of cobots, AI, and Industry 5.0 in transforming manufacturing.

Universal Robots (UR), the world's leading collaborative robot (cobot) manufacturer, today hosts Collaborate India 2025, a premier automation event bringing together industry leaders, technology innovators, and manufacturers to explore the next generation of robotics.

Taking place at the Sheraton Grand at Brigade Gateway, Bengaluru, this future-focused event highlights how advanced automation is reshaping industries, improving efficiency, and driving business success. With expert speakers, hands-on demonstrations, and in-depth discussions, the event delivers key insights into the role of cobots, AI, and Industry 5.0 in transforming manufacturing.

The event comes at a milestone moment for Universal Robots, which last week announced the sale of cobot number 100,000 - a testament to two decades of innovation in automation.

Pioneering the next era of automation
With India's manufacturing sector rapidly adopting intelligent automation - driven by demand for higher efficiency, precision, and scalability - Collaborate India 2025 serves as a platform for businesses to harness the power of cobots, AI, and next-gen robotics.

Universal Robots will kick off the day with a presentation of its next generation cobots and software, presenting cutting-edge developments in collaborative robotics.

Throughout the day, industry leaders and partners, including Impaqt Robotics, Lorch, LMI, Schunk, Soloman, DF Automation, Zimmer, DH-Robotics, and MiR, will showcase real-world applications of cobots in material handling, welding, AI-driven vision systems, and intelligent automation.

Notable sessions include:

"Physical AI for the Next Wave of Industrial Digitalization" - Sunil Patel, Data Scientist at Nvidia, explores the integration of AI in automation.
"Collaborative Robotics in the Context of a Developing Economy" - Tata Consultancy Services discusses the impact of robotics on emerging markets.
Panel Discussion: "Collaborative Automation - Paving the Way for Industry 5.0 in Asia" - Featuring key experts from Tata Consultancy Services, TVS Motor Company, Tata India Institute of Skills, and Universal Robots.
Innovation in action
In addition to expert talks, live demos and workshops give attendees a firsthand look at UR's latest software, PolyScope X, and AI-powered cobot solutions. The event also showcases breakthroughs in autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) and intelligent electric actuators, offering new automation possibilities for businesses.

"India is poised to become a global manufacturing powerhouse, and automation is a critical enabler of this transformation," said Virupakshappa Hovale, Regional Director, South Asia, Universal Robots. "At Collaborate India 2025, we are showcasing how cobots are making automation accessible, efficient, and future-ready for Indian businesses."

A future-ready India with collaborative robots
From welding and material handling to AI-powered inspection, cobots are redefining efficiency and flexibility for Indian businesses, including in automotive, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, electronics, and logistics industries.

With participation from leading robotics companies and tech pioneers, Collaborate India 2025 is a catalyst for industry-wide transformation, showcasing how intelligent, adaptable, and collaborative automation is shaping the factories of tomorrow.

Collaborate India 2025 is a must-attend event for manufacturers, SMEs, and technology leaders looking to gain practical insights and hands-on experience with the latest automation solutions.

T.J. Davies' Retention Knobs

Our retention knobs are manufactured above international standards or to machine builder specifications. Retention knobs are manufactured utilizing AMS-6274/AISI-8620 alloy steel drawn in the United States. Threads are single-pointed on our lathes while manufacturing all other retention knob features to ensure high concentricity. Our process ensures that our threads are balanced (lead in/lead out at 180 degrees.) Each retention knob is carburized (hardened) to 58-62HRC, and case depth is .020-.030. Core hardness 40HRC. Each retention knob is coated utilizing a hot black oxide coating to military specifications. Our retention knobs are 100% covered in black oxide to prevent rust. All retention knob surfaces (not just mating surfaces) have a precision finish of 32 RMA micro or better: ISO grade 6N. Each retention knob is magnetic particle tested and tested at 2.5 times the pulling force of the drawbar. Certifications are maintained for each step in the manufacturing process for traceability.
