MKI partnership, Japanese language support, and growing business development team support Seeq’s international growth

Seeq Corporation, a leader in manufacturing and Industrial Internet of Things advanced analytics software, today announced its silver level sponsorship at ARC Industry Forum Asia, along with the expansion of its Japan business development team and offerings in the region.

From July 12-14, 2022, Seeq and Tokyo-based partner MITSUI KNOWLEDGE INDUSTRY CO., LTD. (MKI) will virtually demonstrate how organizations can leverage Seeq to solve complex production, quality, reliability, and sustainability challenges across process manufacturing industries at ARC Industry Forum Asia, an annual event focused on the digital transformation of the automation industry.

On Wednesday, July 13 at 13:40 pm JST, MKI Sales Manager for Industrial Solutions Yutaka Ishidate will present on workforce transformation, in a session titled "Workforce Transformation (WX) Realized by Seeq Advanced Analysis." The presentation will discuss how industrial manufacturing organizations can move beyond inefficient data wrangling and contextualization processes by deploying Seeq to maximize productivity and create rapid insights to improve business outcomes.

The session will also detail Seeq's expanded offerings in the APAC region:

Japanese language support: Beginning in Q3 of 2022, Seeq customers can choose to display all Seeq's easy-to-use applications-Seeq Workbench for advanced analytics, Seeq Organizer for publishing insights, and Seeq Data Lab for ad hoc Python scripting-in the Japanese language with local product, consulting, and services support provided by MKI.

Analytics studies availability: Working with MKI, Seeq customers can now explore solutions for specific industry challenges to deliver operational improvements quickly and at scale across the enterprise.
MKI supports customers' digital transformation through a combination of software and professional services that drive operational improvements. MKI's combination of machine learning capabilities and process industry experience enable it to partner with clients to identify solutions that improve efficiency, reliability, and sustainability.

"The MKI and Seeq partnership provides joint value and commitment to our customers," says Kenji Otake, Executive General Manager of DX Sales Unit at MKI. "Seeq's complementary solutions enable MKI to deliver meaningful process data insights and drive next generation process manufacturing improvements for our customers."

"Our customers rely upon them to deliver advanced analytics solutions that provide insight and drive results."

In parallel with these new offerings, Seeq has named Shizuo Itoh as a business advisor for Japan, bringing more than 35 years of experience in automation and information systems for the process industries. Mr. Itoh previously held positions at Yokogawa Group and served as President of OSIsoft Japan, where he led the business and partner development organizations.

"We are eager to have Mr. Itoh join the Seeq team," says Knight. "His expertise will be invaluable to our business development organization as we continue to grow and scale our business in Japan and Asia."

"Throughout my experience working in the automation industry, I've seen firsthand the complex business challenges organizations face when they can't efficiently turn data into valuable insights," says Mr. Itoh. "I'm proud to be joining a company that enables organizations to solve these challenges with advanced analytics and helps them capitalize on growth opportunities with partners and customers across the region."
