FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

MANCHESTER, NH, -- Triplett Test Equipment, a leading maker of test equipment tools, announced the launch of the innovative CamView IP Pro-X, an all-new touchscreen security camera tester designed to save time on installations and make testing easier to perform with an industry-first removable battery solution to power cameras during testing.

The rugged, tablet-style design with a large 7" touchscreen is easy to see and use in bright and dark job sites. The versatile tester can be used with cameras with up to 8-megapixel (MP) resolution. Built-in Wi-Fi connectivity with hotspot makes it easy to connect to a network.

Triplett's Quick Connect Power Advantage
Triplett designed the Pro-X to make field work easier and more efficient with Triplett-exclusive "Quick Connect Power" batteries that can be easily removed to separately power a camera. Now, security camera technicians no longer need to tether a camera to their tester for a power source. Instead, the technician can pop out a battery from the back of the tester for an instant power source that's not connected to the battery.

Added Convenience and Safety
Having an independent power source that easily connects to cameras helps improve worker safety by allowing a technician to position him or herself safely on a ladder or on the ground without sacrificing power to the camera being tested and configured. The added power source helps technicians focus on installation tasks without concerns about accidentally disconnecting a power source due to a taut wire, tripping on a long power cable or unsafe ladder use to stay close to a camera in order to power it.
The powerful Pro-X is ready for today's 4K H.265 IP cameras and ONVIF-compliant cameras. On-screen soft-buttons and physical buttons to navigate Triplett's intuitive interface offer added flexibility during installations and configurations.

T.J. Davies' Retention Knobs

Our retention knobs are manufactured above international standards or to machine builder specifications. Retention knobs are manufactured utilizing AMS-6274/AISI-8620 alloy steel drawn in the United States. Threads are single-pointed on our lathes while manufacturing all other retention knob features to ensure high concentricity. Our process ensures that our threads are balanced (lead in/lead out at 180 degrees.) Each retention knob is carburized (hardened) to 58-62HRC, and case depth is .020-.030. Core hardness 40HRC. Each retention knob is coated utilizing a hot black oxide coating to military specifications. Our retention knobs are 100% covered in black oxide to prevent rust. All retention knob surfaces (not just mating surfaces) have a precision finish of 32 RMA micro or better: ISO grade 6N. Each retention knob is magnetic particle tested and tested at 2.5 times the pulling force of the drawbar. Certifications are maintained for each step in the manufacturing process for traceability.
