Greene Tweed Launches Fusionâ„¢ 665, an Ultra-Low-Temperature FKM
Greene Tweed announces the launch of Fusion™ 665, an ultra-low-temperature and chemical-resistant elastomer.
Kulpsville, PA - Greene Tweed's Fusionâ„¢ FKM 665, a new generation, ultra-low-temperature and chemical-resistant elastomer, was specifically formulated to meet and exceed the requirements of Aerospace Material Specification (AMS) 7379 and AMS-P-83461.
"Prior to Greene Tweed's Fusionâ„¢ 665, elastomer material composition resulted in trade-offs," said Wally Hajduczek, Sealing Systems Product Manager for Aerospace, Defense, and Life Sciences. "Achieving optimal low-temp performance meant sacrificing high-temperature operating range, chemical compatibility, or dynamic sealing performance. Fusionâ„¢ 665 was developed to overcome existing limitations of comparable materials, such as NBR, FKM, or FVMQ (Fluorosilicone)."

ResinDek® TRIGARD® ESD ULTRA FOR HIGH-TRAFFIC ROBOTIC APPLICATIONS
To maximize the productivity of an autonomous mobile robot (AMR) or automatic guided vehicle (AGV) deployment, it's critical to create the optimal environment that allows the vehicles to perform at their peak. For that reason, Cornerstone Specialty Wood Products, LLC® (www.resindek.com) created the TriGard® ESD Ultra finish for its ResinDek® engineered flooring panels. The TriGard ESD Ultra finish is ideal for high-traffic robotic applications characterized by highly repetitive movement patterns and defined travel paths.
