Nexa3D Unveils World’s Fastest Large-Format 3D Printer at CES 2019

North American Debut of the Printer that Breaks Current Industry Speed and Size Barriers

Nexa3D, the maker of ultra-fast stereolithography production-grade 3D printers, announced today it will be displaying the NXE400 at CES 2019, marking the North American debut of the industry's fastest large-format 3D printing system. This new category maker prints at up to 6 times the speed and 2.5 times the build volume of all other comparable products on the market today. Part of a new family of printers that leverages Nexa3D's proprietary LSPc technology, the NXE400 is capable of continuously printing up to 16 liters of parts volume, at speeds of up to 1Z centimeter per minute. This groundbreaking printer effectively reduces the time to produce functional prototypes and production parts from hours to mere minutes.

"After more than two years of intensive research and development, our team is proud to exhibit the results of our painstaking work at CES 2019 with our significant partners Techniplas and Dynamism, two go-to-market collaborators that are helping us validate the marketplace impact and build access to new products"

"We are thrilled to introduce to the North American market at CES this groundbreaking technology that has broken the speed, size and cost barriers that have constrained our industry's growth for decades," said Avi Reichental, Nexa3D Co-founder and Executive Chairman. "This is the printer that end-users, strategic partners, resellers and investors alike have been waiting for years. We are humbled to be the company to provide this much-needed advancement to the 3D printing industry."

At CES 2019, Nexa3D will preview the NXE400, which is slated for commercialization in early 2019. Priced $49,950 for a 16-liter printer, the NXE400 is capable of printing at injection molding repeatability and tolerances, making it the most accurate 3D printer in its category.

"After more than two years of intensive research and development, our team is proud to exhibit the results of our painstaking work at CES 2019 with our significant partners Techniplas and Dynamism, two go-to-market collaborators that are helping us validate the marketplace impact and build access to new products," said Izhar Medalsy, Chief Product Officer, Nexa3D.

Nexa3D plans to commercialize its new NXE series of printers during the first half of 2019 through a multi-channel arrangement with XYZprinting, the world's leading 3D printing brand, and BEGO, a top provider of digital and traditional dental materials. This collaboration is designed to successfully access the growing demand for industrial production and digital dentistry printers, both multi-billion-dollar categories. As part of its growing automotive focus, Nexa3D has also partnered with Techniplas, a leading global design and manufacturing provider of automotive products and services. Techniplas announced the partnership in January 2018, and is showcasing a concept vehicle featuring its expanding generative design and additive manufacturing capabilities - including printed parts by Nexa3D - at CES 2019.

The NXE400 is equipped with tough materials ideal for ultra-fast printing of functional prototyping, production tooling and full-scale manufacturing of end-use parts, casting patterns and dental restorations. The printers are also equipped with cognitive software and integrated sensors, which together optimize manufacturing part performance, provide detailed diagnostics, and offer continuous monitoring. Nexa3D printers are powered by the company's proprietary Lubricant Sublayer Photo-curing (LSPc) technology and patented structured light matrix, capable of reaching speeds of 1Z centimeter per minute.
