M. Holland Signs Distribution Agreement with 3DXTECH, Bringing Additional Materials Availability to Its 3D Printing Consulting Offering

The new agreement gives M. Holland clients access to an increasingly diverse network of 3D printing expertise and materials

M. Holland Company, a leading distributor of thermoplastic resins, announced today it signed a distribution agreement with 3DXTECH, a Michigan-based manufacturer and supplier of high-performance 3D printing materials and parts. The new agreement will give M. Hollands industrial manufacturing clients access to an expanded team of commercial and technical support resources and add over 24 additional materials to M. Hollands 3D printing product portfolio, including carbon fiber, electrostatic discharge-safe, and fire-retardant materials.

"At M. Holland, our mission is to give our industrial clients agnostic advice about how to integrate 3D printing into their operations to create value," said Haleyanne Freedman, M. Hollands global 3D printing and additive manufacturing engineering specialist. "The 3DXTECH product line gives us a full portfolio of high quality, engineering-grade materials, which we can marry with objective recommendations about methods and machinery to deliver the optimal solutions to our clients."

3DXTECHs CEO and Founder, Matt Howlett, added, "Our agreement with M. Holland provides us a great opportunity to merge our relationships with injection molders, extruders, and OEMs who already use 3D printing or want to integrate it into their industrial manufacturing practices. Whether M. Hollands clients are looking to use 3D printing to create real end-use applications and functional parts, produce fixtures or jigs, replace tooling, or allow for quicker innovation - we are here to help them achieve their 3D printing objectives."

Howlett founded 3DXTECH in 2014. The company purchased a 68,000-square-foot facility in September to double its extrusion capacity and support its more than 200 percent year-over-year growth rate and expanding team, which is estimated to grow from 12 to 20 employees by the end of 2018. 3DXTECH offers 3D printing materials, which include carbon fiber-reinforced materials, PEEK (polyether ketone), polycarbonate, and Ultem. This array dramatically expands the industries 3D printing can effectively serve.

In May 2018, M. Holland signed its first 3D printing product distribution agreement with Owens Corning to sell the companys XSTRANDTM line of products. M. Holland is also investing in new 3D printing capabilities at its research and development center in Easton, Pennsylvania, as well as its dedicated 3D Printing Lab at its headquarters in Northbrook, Illinois.
