ZYFRA and Rapid Progress are to demonstrate Bulgaria's industry 4.0 at KEY Conf

On October 26, Finland-based ZYFRA Oy and Rapid Progress, an authorized value added reseller for Bulgaria and Macedonia, will present their joint Industry 4.0 project that already operates in Bulgaria at KEY Conference Machinery Days in Plovdiv.

ZYFRA company, specialized in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) based solutions for the industries, is coming to Bulgaria as a strategic partner for KEY Conference in Plovdiv.

As the Conference starts on October 26, ZYFRA is about to introduce its MDCPlus solution as well as to share information, good practice among professionals and share the most relevant improvements that will lead the Industry 4.0 in upcoming years. ZYFRA and Rapid Progress are already running smart-factory projects back in Bulgaria and Finland. The real case study will be presented by ZYFRA and Rapid Progress during their panel speech "Need For Efficiency? Track Your Productivity" at the Conference.
"Industry is one of the pillars of the European economy - the manufacturing sector in the European Union accounts for 33 million jobs and 60% of productivity growth. And we at ZYFRA are seeing a greater potential for digitalization of European manufacturing industries" - said Andrey Lovygin, International Business Development of ZYFRA.
MDCplus is an objective monitoring tool. The main purpose of monitoring systems is to track equipment operation and increase its efficiency, and to help people and machines interact at the same time. They enable the production process to be improved without any considerable investments, increasing its efficiency and, at the same time, solving a great deal of related problems. This actually crucial task and the initial step on the path towards the Industrial Internet of Things.
"Smart manufacturing (the term refers to IoT and AI) is projected to grow noticeably in the 3 to 5 years. Recent surveys showed 92% of senior manufacturing executives believe that "Smart Factory" digital technologies such as artificial intelligence will allow them to improve their degrees of productivity and empower their staff to work more intelligently. Some even account for smart manufacturing market volume to increase to over $320 billion by 2020," said Mr. Lovygin.

"Through accurate monitoring over basic time intervals of the running technological process as applied to each process operation, as well as through calculation of manufactured and defective parts, you can additionally increase machine productivity and save the enterprise money", - Lovygin added.
ZYFRA, founded in November 2017, currently operates in Bulgaria, Finland and India. The company connected over 7,000 CNC machines. ZYFRA technologies allow customers to drastically boost machinery utilization efficiency and improve the accuracy of product quality prediction. With its software, hardware and services a customer can transform his production into digital.

For reference:

Evolutionary development of industry from mechanization to industrialization, and then from automation to Industry 4.0 is characterized by the massive use of various sensors for the collection and exchange of information integrated with intelligent systems.

The Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) is a computer network consisting of elements of industrial equipment, scientific tools, equipped with technologies of interaction with each other and the external environment. The goal of the Internet of Things is to change the technological and business processes in such a way as to increase their efficiency and significantly reduce the need for human participation in making routine decisions related to the management of objects in such networks. In a general sense, IIoT can be equated to fully automate digital production.

The introduction of such technologies will enable enterprises from different sectors of the economy to increase the efficiency of the use of production assets, for example, by reducing the number of unplanned outages, forecasting and preventing emergency equipment failures, increasing energy efficiency through more economical use of energy, guaranteeing stable output quality, and ultimately increase productivity.
