Addition Design & Research 1-day Training Course on 3D Printing will Deliver Invaluable Returns

The Addition Design & Research 1-day introductory training course on 3D printing will be broken down into investigative and hands-on sessions, where participants are invited to take-part based on their reasons for attending and getting the most from the course for their business.

21st August 2018; Sheffield, UK: Following the announcement of the new Addition Design & Research interactive training course for engaging with 3D printing, the company is pleased to reveal a more in-depth overview of the 1-day programme. Addition Design & Research is a company that specializes in providing end-to-end advanced design and manufacturing solutions using additive manufacturing and 3D printing technologies and it is these capabilities and skills that position the company so well to offer unbiased training for organisations looking to engage with 3D printing technologies as a real business tool.

The Addition Design & Research 1-day introductory training course on 3D printing will be broken down into investigative and hands-on sessions, where participants are invited to take-part based on their reasons for attending and getting the most from the course for their business. Throughout the day, no one will be telling them what they should be doing but rather asking them what they need. The Addition Design & Research team will be on hand throughout the day providing impartial information in a support role and offering guidance.

Questions will be invited throughout the course and will be addressed either in a group setting or in one-to-one meetings that will be available at the end of the day.

One of the highlight sessions will focus on "Who uses 3DP and How?" whereby attendees will be able to learn about, see and hold some of the most original and current applications of 3D printing. This will offer a launch pad to prompt ideas and questions as to how attendees can realistically apply 3D printing in their own business and investigate the logistics and economics of doing so. As the course progresses, one of the key goals is to dispel many of the existing myths around 3D printing, often held by people not familiar with the technology.

Another key session during the course will focus on "What does 3DP need to work?" Here the goal is to support course participants in identifying their own needs within their business and workflows. Each session will run with specific interactive activities to generate valuable feedback for every participant.

For UK organizations that are looking for a primer on 3D printing and Additive Manufacturing technologies as a business solution, the Addition Design and Research training course should be a serious consideration.

The first course in this series will take place at the Advanced Manufacturing Park Technology Centre in Sheffield on 20th September 2018

Addition Design & Research will also be exhibiting at TCT Show 2018: Visit us at the NEC, 25-27th September, Stand K49.
