HANNOVER MESSE USA 2018 To Feature Industrial Energy Systems Special Display

During HANNOVER MESSE USA 2018, the shows organizer will feature top energy management solutions in the new Industrial Energy Systems (IES) special display area. Key industrial energy systems innovators will discuss and demonstrate how to drive energy efficiency and ensure power quality in the manufacturing facility.

Chicago - Energy management is becoming more and more important to manufacturers as environmental, social and business trends intensify corporate environmental performance expectations.

"We specifically designed IES to showcase solutions that allow manufacturers to track their energy consumption and to implement the best energy management strategies for their operations," said Adrienne Zepeda, show manager of Industrial Events at Hannover Fairs USA. "By visiting IES exhibitors this year, HANNOVER MESSE USA and IMTS attendees can preview energy reduction and renewable energy solutions to create competitive advantages," added Zepeda.
Highly Efficient Combined Heat & Power Systems
Within the Industrial Energy Systems special display, St. Augustine, Florida-based 2G Energy will demonstrate a variety of energy efficiency solutions such as its agenitor®406, a highly efficient Combined Heat & Power (CHP) system that lowers energy costs, is built to specific customer needs and designed for installation in many industrial applications and settings.
"2G Energy exhibits our global cogeneration solutions at HANNOVER MESSE in Germany every year, and we are excited to showcase our U.S. manufactured CHP systems to a broad range of North American distributors during HANNOVER MESSE USA 2018," said Emily Robertson, marketing manager at 2G. "We are also using the Chicago event to kick off 2Gs U.S. roadshow of our CHP systems and CHP installations in Maryland, Texas and California. HANNOVER MESSE USA is the perfect showcase to start our 2018 tour," added Robertson.
Dynamic Energy Management Solutions
Also showcasing IES solutions, Michael Koch GmbH, a top manufacturer of dynamic energy management solutions and safe brake resistors, will launch its Dynamic Storage-Manager DSM 4.0. The DSM 4.0 device allows balancing DC Links with a voltage level of up to 800 Volt DC to temporarily store superfluous energy and provide missing energy. The DSM 4.0 offers some special attributes which make it a universal solution. It is able to store energy in a variety of different storage solutions of electrolyte capacitors and double layer capacitors, as well as batteries, making the system advantageous for a broad spectrum of applications.
Michael Koch also will demonstrate its KTS energy management systems with a peak power of well over 100 kilowatts and energy levels of up to 1.8 megajoules within the IES area. The KTS systems are based on a combination of power electronics, super capacitor modules, and additional modules that are perfectly tailored to the specific application.
The company also will introduce the Safe Discharge Unit, a connectible, overload-proof resistor unit at HANNOVER MESSE USA. The Safe Discharge Unit discharges the capacities to a desired, safe voltage level within a reasonable timeframe.
"We are pleased to demonstrate and launch our new dynamic energy management solutions at HANNOVER MESSE USA. Our solutions actively manage the electrical energy at the heart of the drive - the DC link, bringing concrete benefits to its user," said Michel Koch, managing partner at Michael Koch GmbH.
