Over the past year Tompkins International has added several interconnected enterprises with different purposes. All these new products, services, and innovations will be presented at Modex in the Tompkins International booth #B727.

MonarchFx, an alliance of Tompkins International, has created a distributed logistics network of fulfillment centers to support retailers and brands shipping direct-to-consumer. MonarchFx is a partnership of logistics services providers, leading supply chain technologies and automation, and transportation service providers, coming together to provide sellers one-stop eFulfillment with high levels of service with reasonable pricing.

As MonarchFx grew, Tompkins International started to explore a variety of technologies that would enable efficient and effective each picking. The answer was found in China, creating the unveiling of Tompkins Robotics. Tompkins Robotics has released t-Sort, the t-Sort system performs much like a tilt tray. However, the unique and exciting difference is it uses completely independent robots. This is the equivalent of having a tilt tray with no track, allowing each robot to travel to any divert or induction station independently along the shortest path. A unique feature is the system is purchased on a seasonal or annual basis, deferring the capital investment and fully utilizing the asset at all times, unlike a traditional sorter that one buys for their long-term growth plan.

Finally, to optimize warehouse asset utilization, Tompkins International created The Connected Warehouse® powered by SensorThink.
