EASY Product Finder Delivers Intuitive Search Tool to Specify Lenze Drive Solutions

Smart combination of intelligent filters and free text search gives engineers new freedom to achieve faster results

UXBRIDGE, MA - June 30, 2016 - A global leader and manufacturer of electrical and mechanical drives, motion control and automation technologies, Lenze announces the launch of the online EASY Product Finder. The easy-to-navigate and intuitive EASY Product Finder empowers machine designers and engineers to explore and specify Lenze engineered power drive, automation and motion control solutions.

The new online EASY Product Finder combines a free text search function with intelligent search filters. Infusing the engineering process with speed and efficiency, the technology behind the EASY tool incorporates similar mechanisms deployed successfully by major online stores and portals. The online tool requires no special skills, except those most customers have already acquired using computers, laptops and smartphones to shop online.

The EASY Product Finder can be used to compare and contrast products, generate torque speed characteristic curves for different motor inverter combinations, set filters or launch searches over keywords, products or type references. After entering up to five process values, the EASY application swiftly proposes an initial design. Powered by customizable filters, search results may be placed in a shopping cart for additional consideration or sent to Lenze with an offer inquiry, or the CAD data can be expedited directly to a customer's design team.

Bitflow is the leader in CoaXPress

With the introduction of its Cyton and Karbon CXP frame grabbers, BitFlow has established itself as the leader in CoaXPress (CXP), a simple, yet powerful, standard for moving high speed serial data from a camera to a frame grabber. With CXP, video is captured at speeds of up to 6.25 Gigabits/Second (Gb/S). Simultaneously, control commands and triggers can be sent to the camera 20 Mb/S (with a trigger accuracy of +/- 2 nanoseconds). Up to 13 W of power can also supplied to the camera. All this happens over a single piece of industry standard 75 Ohm coaxial cable. Multiple CXP links can be aggregated to support higher data rates (e.g. four links provide 25 Gb/S of data). BitFlow CXP frame grabbers open the door to applications where cable cost, routing requirements and long distances have prevented the move to high resolution, high speed digital cameras. In many cases, existing coaxial infrastructure can be repurposed for CXP with very low installation costs.
