Our Process

Affordable and Easy to Use, Here’s How it Works

Print with Any Standard 3D Printer
Filamet™ is metal, glass, and ceramic 3D printing filament that is as easy as printing plastic. It works just like regular PLA filament, so you can use the same affordable 3D printers designed for plastic—no special equipment needed!
Remove the Binder in a Kiln
After printing, place the part in a standard kiln—like the ones used for firing ceramics. The kiln slowly heats the part, burning away the PLA binder and leaving behind a porous metal structure, ready for the final step.
Sinter the Particles Together
Next, increase the kiln temperature to fuse the particles together, transforming the print into a pure metal, glass, or ceramic part. This process densifies the material, creating a final product that is strong, durable, and pure.
