ROMI to showcase high-performance machining solutions at IMTS 2026
As manufacturers across North America continue to seek greater efficiency, flexibility, and process stability, ROMI will highlight practical solutions designed to deliver consistent performance in demanding production environments.
ROMI will return to the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) 2026 with a strong focus on productivity, machining versatility, and long-term manufacturing reliability. From September 14-19, visitors to McCormick Place in Chicago will find ROMI at Booth 338876 in the South Building, Level 3 - Metal Removal area, where the company will present a selection of advanced machining and turning technologies through live demonstrations.
As manufacturers across North America continue to seek greater efficiency, flexibility, and process stability, ROMI will highlight practical solutions designed to deliver consistent performance in demanding production environments.
A key highlight of the booth will be the ROMI GL250M turning center integrated with an automated robotic loading system. Developed for multi-tasking turning operations, the solution combines turning, milling, and automated part handling within a single manufacturing cell.
Equipped with driven tooling and optional Y-axis capability, the GL250M enables manufacturers to consolidate operations, reduce handling times, and improve productivity while maintaining excellent surface finish and dimensional accuracy.
ROMI will also showcase the D800 vertical machining center, engineered for demanding heavy-duty cutting applications. Its robust construction, generous travels, and high-torque performance make it particularly suitable for industries requiring stable machining performance, high material removal rates, and reliable operation over extended production cycles.
Completing the demonstration area, ROMI will also feature the C470 CNC lathe, bringing new developments to its turning portfolio. Designed for high versatility and precision machining applications, the C470 combines structural rigidity, stability, and dynamic performance within a compact footprint, offering flexibility and accuracy across a wide range of production environments.
ROMI's participation at IMTS 2026 will also feature Burkhardt+Weber, the German high-performance machining center specialist and a member of the ROMI Group. Its presence reinforces the group's technological strength and its ability to offer robust, precise, and application-driven solutions for complex machining requirements. Throughout the exhibition, ROMI's technical and sales teams will be available to engage with visitors, stay close to customers, and better understand their specific manufacturing needs. The team will discuss real-world machining challenges across sectors including aerospace, automotive, energy, general manufacturing, and precision machining service providers. At IMTS 2026, ROMI will demonstrate how its machine tools combine performance, productivity, and reliability to support manufacturers seeking greater competitiveness in increasingly demanding industrial environments.
