Additive Manufacturing Consultancy Announces Name Change

TBGA Repositions as The Barnes Global Advisors Achieving Industry Presence on 6 Continents

TBGA Founder & Managing Director John Barnes has always seen Additive Manufacturing as a global love affair. 2020 proved this out, with the industry truly linked together with a common goal. With this love affair in mind, Barnes announced a name change to reflect its business; The Barnes Global Advisors.

Previously known as The Barnes Group Advisors, the name change comes as the ADDvisor® team has extended its reach to provide consulting and training expertise on six continents. With a clear mission to industrialize additive manufacturing, the TBGA team has provided extensive additive manufacturing consultation, including experience with newer advanced manufacturing technologies such as Cold Spray, Binder Jet Processing, Directed Energy Deposition and Supply Chain development.

People are what make a difference. That's where TBGA invests. The ADDvisor® team has put more than 1,000 people on six continents through its various courses. The key to achieving this milestone is via partnering, first with Purdue University on the 100% online AM certificate and following up with international training partners ADDvance Manufacturing Technologies in Spain, Tiziri Advanced Manufacturing Technologies in South Africa, and the Indian 3D Printing Network in India.

"When TBGA started 3 years ago, we had a vision to bring people from around the world together from our connections to solve problems, link companies and generally help get from A to B. In that time, we grew more than anticipated and have this great team with fantastic experience. In my mind, it took 25 years to create the team, but it also took 25 years to build the trust and integrity we have with our customers." - John Barnes.

TBGA offering Advising, Training and Communications. We think globally.
